Everyone loves Lush. But not everyone can enjoy their products as often as they would want to — the luxury is costly! However, that doesn’t mean you can’t make your own Lush imitation bath bombs.

All you’ll need is baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, almond oil, essential oils (such as peppermint, lemon or lavender; your choice, really), food coloring (totally optional), rubbing alcohol, and some shapes in which you will shape them.

Here are the ingredients:

– 2 cups of baking soda; – 1 cup of citric acid; – 1 cup of cornstarch; – 3 teaspoons of almond oil; – 1 teaspoon of essential oil; – 10 drops of food coloring;

Start by mixing all the dry ingredients, as well as mixing your essential oils with almond oil in a separate container. Mix the oils ever so slowly into the dry mixture, mainly to prevent lumps. Add food coloring (if using) while mixing. Keep spraying the rubbing alcohol into the mixture while mixing (anywhere from 5 to 10 times may be required) until the mixture starts sticking together. Add the mixture to the molds of your choice, press it firmly and mist it a bit more with alcohol.

In just 15 minutes you should have your own Lush-inspired bath bombs ready! Enjoy yourself!
