Have you heard of chamomile tea? Perhaps you have some in your pantry that you were totally going to be drinking every day to take advantage of its benefits, but somehow forgot its there? Or maybe you don’t even know what it is? Well, if so, let us introduce you.
Chamomile tea is known as the traditional herbal drink, and it’s been used in the world for hundreds of years. It’s widely known for its various health applications and as a means to prevent numerous illnesses.
The chamomile flower is so useful because of its fairly unique contents: inside of them, you can find volatile oils like bisabolol oxides A and B, matricin, also such components as apigenin, all of which are valid and viable in improving the condition of skin and hair.
But how do you brew it? Well, it’s quite simple:
– 2 or 3 teaspoons of dried chamomile; – 1 cup of hot water; – 1 teaspoon of lemon; – 1 teaspoon of honey (optional).
Put the dried chamomile in a cup, and pour hot water over it. Leave them in for 3 minutes before straining water and adding lemon and, optionally, honey, to make it tastier. That’s it!
